Medical Practice Software in Greece (2026): 5 Compared
The right practice software in Greece in 2026 depends on what fills your day. If it is prescriptions and receipts: MediSign (cloud, €9 a month, with e-prescribing through IDIKA (Greece's e-prescription system) and myDATA as add-ons), MedExpress (e-prescribing and e-DAPY, price on request) or Galinos Office (free up to 150 patients, with a drug database). If it is appointments, reminders and a team: Relatica, our own product (online booking, SMS in the patient's language, several practitioners and rooms, free for one), which does not do e-prescribing or myDATA. In Cyprus, Iatrico. Prices come from the vendors' own pages, checked on 27 October 2026.

Three things to check first for a practice in Greece
- E-prescribing. If you write prescriptions and referrals every day, you want the software to talk to IDIKA so you do not type everything twice.
- Receipts and myDATA. Receipts for services are transmitted to myDATA; check whether the software does this through a licensed provider or whether your accountant will.
- Appointments and patients. Online booking, SMS reminders, several practitioners and rooms: this is where "prescription" software differs most from "appointment" software.
1. MediSign: low-cost cloud with e-prescribing and myDATA
MediSign is cloud practice software from Athens for doctors and health professionals in private practice or in a multi-specialty clinic, and it runs on a computer, tablet and phone. The base package costs €9 a month with unlimited patients and appointments, accounting and myDATA support, statistics, one extra user (your secretary, for example), 2 GB of storage and 24×7 support; the first month is free. Each further user costs €0.60 a month (up to 10) and each extra GB €0.80. IDIKA e-prescribing is an add-on: €6 a month, €16 a quarter or €62 a year. Transmission to myDATA goes through the licensed provider Primer Software, also as an add-on. Source: medisign.gr/pricing.
- Choose it if you work alone or with one secretary, write prescriptions and want receipts sent to myDATA from the same program at low cost.
- Look elsewhere if you need a page where patients book on their own, or software in a language other than Greek: the site mentions neither.
2. MedExpress: the most widely used prescribing software
MedExpress by Sigmasoft (Thessaloniki) is aimed at doctors in the National e-Prescription System and says it is the best seller in the Greek market. It connects to e-prescribing through the IDIKA Doctors API, repeats prescriptions and referrals in one click, sends visits to e-DAPY, creates a patient file with history and notes automatically, issues receipts for services and gives statistics on prescriptions and referrals. Support runs Monday to Friday, 9:00–21:00. The price is not published. Source: sigmasoft.gr.
- Choose it if your day is mostly prescriptions, referrals and e-DAPY and you want the most proven tool for that.
- Look elsewhere if you want online booking, patient reminders or a published price.
3. Galinos Office: free, with a drug database
Galinos is first a Greek drug database, and Galinos Office is the practice program built around it: patient file, appointments, prescribing with interactions and dosing. It is free up to 150 patients; paid plans are not published. The site does not mention online booking, reminders or hosting details. Source: galinos.gr. See also the Relatica vs Galinos comparison.
- Choose it if you prescribe and want the drug database and a simple patient file for free.
- Look elsewhere if you have more than 150 patients and want to know the price up front, or you need booking and reminders.
4. Iatrico: for practices in Cyprus
Iatrico, from Nicosia, is an electronic record with scheduling, invoices, receipts, expenses, financial reports, treatment plans, email and SMS reminders and a mobile app; there is a physiotherapy edition. Plans are billed annually: Essential at €20 a month for one practitioner (+€9 for each additional one), Complete at €49 with medical records, Physio at €39 for three physiotherapists. Data is hosted on AWS in Ireland. It is aimed at Cyprus, so IDIKA e-prescribing and myDATA are outside its scope. Source: iatrico.com/plans-pricing. See the Relatica vs Iatrico comparison.
- Choose it if you are in Cyprus and want a local vendor with a mobile app.
- Look elsewhere if you are in Greece: the national systems (IDIKA, myDATA) are not what it is built for.
5. Relatica (our product): for appointments, teams and languages
Relatica is built in Limassol and handles the appointments and patients side: a public page where patients book on their own, SMS and email reminders in the patient's language (Greek, English or Russian), a calendar for several practitioners and rooms, a record with allergies, medications, notes and documents, questionnaires and consents signed with a finger, session packages, an FDI tooth chart and payment records with CSV export for your accountant. Solo is free for one practitioner with up to 50 patients, Practice is €49 a month and Team €99 for up to five; data is stored in the EU.
- Choose it if you lose time on the phone booking appointments, have no-shows, work with other practitioners or see Russian-speaking patients.
- Look elsewhere if you want one program for everything: Relatica does not do e-prescribing, does not transmit to myDATA and has no link to EOPYY. It works alongside a prescribing program. See the page for Greece.
Pick by situation
- One doctor, many prescriptions, receipts to myDATA, low cost: MediSign.
- E-prescribing and e-DAPY all day: MedExpress.
- Free, with a drug database, few patients: Galinos Office.
- Practice with appointments, a front desk, several practitioners or patients who speak other languages: Relatica, alongside a prescribing program if you prescribe.
- Cyprus: Iatrico or Relatica; see the checklist for Cyprus.
