Limassol, Cyprus

Clinic software made in Limassol, for clinics whose patients speak three languages

Limassol is where Relatica is built. It is also the city where a dental or medical practice will see a Cypriot GHS beneficiary, a British retiree with private insurance and a Russian-speaking family who pay privately, all before lunch. Relatica handles the three payers and the three languages in one diary, and we are close enough to come and help with the switch.

What running a clinic in Limassol involves

Limassol has the island's largest international community and the densest cluster of private clinics outside Nicosia. That shapes what the software has to do.

Three payers in one morning

GHS beneficiaries pay a co-payment, €6 for a specialist visit with a referral or €25 without one, and the rest is claimed. Insured patients are claimed from their insurer. Private patients pay in full. Relatica marks each visit as self-paid, GHS or insurance, applies your co-payment and tracks each claim to paid.

Patients who do not read Greek

A large share of Limassol patients are English or Russian speakers. The booking page, the confirmations and the reminders exist in all three languages, and each patient carries a preferred language so the SMS arrives in the right one.

Clinics along the coast and up the hill

Practices grow from a single surgery in the centre to a second site in Germasogeia, Mesa Geitonia or Ypsonas. Relatica keeps one organization with several locations, each with its own diary, rooms and booking page, and staff assigned where they work.

Season and no-shows

Summer brings tourists and absent regulars. Automatic reminders by SMS and email, from 72 hours to one hour before, keep the diary honest without reception spending the morning on the phone.

What Relatica does for a Limassol clinic

GHS and insurer claims

Reminders in the patient's language

Questions from Limassol clinics

Can you come to the clinic to help us switch?

Yes, in Limassol we can. We look at your current program or paper system, import the patient list, set up services, hours and the booking page, and train the team. Contact us to arrange it.

How are GHS visits handled?

Patients carry a GHS beneficiary number, the clinic sets its co-payment, and each visit is marked as GHS, insurance or self-paid. The claim is tracked in Relatica through submitted, approved, paid or rejected. Submission itself is done on the GHS portal.

Can reminders go out in Russian to some patients and Greek to others?

Yes. Each patient has a preferred language; reminders and confirmations use it, and fall back to the clinic's language when it is not set.

We have a second clinic in Germasogeia. Is that one account?

Yes. Both clinics are locations under one organization, each with its own diary, rooms, booking page and phone number. Staff are assigned to the locations they work at. The Clinic plan covers three locations.

Which insurers can we claim from?

Any. The clinic keeps its own list of insurers in settings, and claims carry the insurer name and reference. There is no electronic link to insurers; the status is updated as they respond.

What does it cost?

Solo is free for one practitioner with up to 200 patients. Practice is €89 a month for up to five practitioners, Clinic €199 a month for up to fifteen across three locations. Paid plans start with a 14-day trial without a card.
