Alternative to Pabau

Relatica vs Pabau, for an aesthetic or medical clinic in Cyprus

Pabau is a large all-in-one platform from the UK, strong in aesthetic medicine: patient portal, digital forms, before-and-after photos, marketing automation, stock and point of sale. It does a great deal. Relatica does less and is built for clinics in Cyprus and Greece: three languages, the GHS, euro pricing you can read on the website, and a free plan for one practitioner. This page sets the two side by side.

What Pabau is

Pabau sells plans by team size, from a single user to enterprise, with prices quoted per region on request rather than published, and a discount for annual billing. All plans include scheduling, online booking, a patient portal, paperless forms with conditional logic, photos, invoicing and point of sale, marketing campaigns and loyalty, stock, telehealth, an app marketplace with API and webhooks, and reporting. Premium extensions add marketing, clinical and analytics features.

Choose Pabau if

  • You need a patient portal with online consent signing and intake forms.
  • Marketing automation, loyalty programmes, stock control or point of sale are part of how you sell.
  • You want an API and a marketplace of integrations.
  • Your clinic works in English and your budget accommodates per-user pricing.

Choose Relatica if

  • You want to know the price before talking to sales, in euros.
  • Your team or your patients read Greek or Russian.
  • You see GHS beneficiaries or claim from local insurers.
  • You are a small clinic that needs booking, records, plans and reminders, not a marketing suite.
  • You want a company in Limassol that can come to the clinic.

Switching from Pabau

Export clients from Pabau as CSV and import them into Relatica. Photos, forms and history remain in Pabau; download what you need and upload key documents to the patient record. Solo is free and paid plans have a 14-day trial, so you can evaluate without cancelling anything.

Questions about switching

How much does Pabau cost?

Pabau does not publish prices; they are quoted per region and team size after a demo. Third-party listings quote per-user monthly prices in the tens of dollars. Relatica's prices are on the pricing page: Solo free, Practice €89, Clinic €199.

Does Relatica have a patient portal?

No. Patients book on a public page and receive emails and SMS; they do not log in. Consents are uploaded as documents rather than signed online.

Can Relatica handle an aesthetic clinic?

Yes for booking, records with photos and consents as documents, packages as treatment plans, reminders and rooms. Not for marketing campaigns, loyalty or stock; see the aesthetics page.

Does Pabau support the GHS?

No. It invoices and takes payments but has no concept of GHS beneficiaries, co-payments or claim statuses. Relatica has them built in.
